The admission is based on merit, by the Government Order, which is published and authorized by the IBMC Academic Council and Governing Body. Islami Bank Medical College Hospital was established to educate specially selected high-quality medical candidates, referred to as "Medical students," over five academic years. They will study medicine according to the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) curricula for the MBBS and BDS degrees.
